another assignment! we had to make promos for ourselves. we got to do one for real, and then another one that we would send to our "dream client"

bridgestone

so our last assignment before christmas break was to make an ad for the Bridgestone photo contest. theres a 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize to each school, which means 3 people in my class are gunna win some money and also possibly have their photo used for future Bridgestone ads. pretty cool!

i was super stressed out about it, cause i was going through a creative block. luckily this little idea came to me.

i just finished shooting some stuff for my painting with light assignment. i took some of the stuff i shot into photoshop and just played around with some filters and stuff.

found another silly little image i figured i might as well post since i havent done anything exciting lately. not really sure how i feel about it, but ill let you kids be the judges.

i attempted to do a self portrait last night, but it was one of those nights where the ideas in my head didnt want to cooperate. i was hoping to post said self portrait and get this blog off the ground. instead i scrounged my computer in hopes i might find something i buried in the past few months. and i did! i did! and here it is. hope you like it!

in this style

heres a photo i took of my boyfriends band, In This Style. they needed a new photo to apply for halifax pop explosion. we ventured into the backyard and played. im pretty happy with the final image although it looks the best small, since its only being used as a thumbnail image. thank you jenna, for being my assisstant
